The Marlin 70PSS "Papoose" in .22Long Rifle is perfect companion for any activity where space is at a premium. Designed as a hiker and camper utility rifle, the rifle is notable for its portability; it is less than 21 inches in length when disassembled and weighs less than 4 pounds. You can take it apart and put it back together in a matter of seconds. It features stainless steel receiver grooved for scope mount, a rugged fiberglass-filled black synthetic stock, 16" stainless steel take-down barrel with 16 Micro-Groove® rifling, adjustable open rear sight, fixed front sight with high-visibility orange post, and a 7-shot magazine. This 70PSS is in excellent condition with a bright bore and shows almost zero blemishes, but for an old rust spot on the receiver (please see photographs for detail). This would be the perfect for rifle for your next trip into the backcountry.
