Description:
This is an excellent condition Superposed Lightning that was saved from the salt wood era of the late 60s to mid 70s. This is a 12 ga 2 3/4" chamber, with 28" barrels. The gun has mint bores, choked Full and Modified. All the metal surfaces are in great shape, with only carry wear around the hinge point. The original blue would rate 85% or better on the receiver, and 98% on the barrels. All internal functions work as they should (i.e. ejectors and extractors), and barrel selector. The replacment stocks were built by a well known local gun maker, that would command a minimum of $1000 for his stock work. He used a fantastic walnut blank, with nice figure, and finished it to a smooth oil sheen. My pictures do not do these stocks justice. They have all hand cut checkering, with a perfect wood to metal fit, and a nice soft Decelerator pad.The LOP measures 13 3/4". $995 shipped and insured to lower 48 states.
