Swiss SG-AMT rifle, a variant of the Swiss Army's STG-57 rifle, this the commercial version as imported in very limited numbers. SN: 16751, Cal: .308/7.62x51 NATO Standard configuration SIG AMT with post front sight and 600-meter range adjustable peep rear sight, threaded muzzle withh attached flash suppressor, swiveling bipod mounted at the front of the ventilated handguard, and a folding carry handle. The receiver is equipped with a typical Swiss "T" shaped cocking handle (as found on the K31), flip-down winter trigger, and "S/1" marked 2-position selector. Equipped with a ribbed plastic pistol grip, smooth walnut forearm and buttstock, and ribbed steel buttplate. Made for export, limited sales of this very distinctive rifle were also earmarked for Bolivia and Chile. NO IMPORT MARKINGS!
Condition:
Excellent, with over 98% of the original blue, the wood furniture with a scattering of very superficial handling marks as carefully photgraphed. Bright bore with strong rifling. Perfect manual mechanics. A beautiful, no-excuse, SIG AMT from Switzerland.
