Description:
Carcano Model 91/41 6.5mm Carcano bolt action Italian service rifle, manufactured in 1942 in Terni. This rifle was adopted for service by the Italian military in 1941 as a standard issue infantry rifle, and features the typical full length hardwood stock and handguard with two barrel bands, complete with a cleaning rod and an adjustable rear sight. The rifle is designed to accept Carcano en bloc-type clips, which load from the top, and fall out of the open port in the magazine when depleted. The rifle is in excellent condition considering its' age, with only small handling marks in areas, and no signs of rust or corrosion damage. The bore is in great shape as well. The stock and barreled action have matching numbers, and the bolt/bottom metal do not appear to have visible serial numbers. Please refer to the photos prior to purchase. A wonderful example of a 91/41 Italian service rifle; a must have for WWII small arms collectors! C&R OK.
