Listing a old Colt saddle ring carbine of mine. 44/40 caliber , serial number 53541, Mfg'd in 1893, all the blue pretty well worn away but don't be mistaken this old girl is a shooter. These were made in 32/20 , 38/40, and the 44/40 same as Colts medium frame rifles were up until about 1903. If your into those Cowboy action gig's be original , show them boys how a real Colt shoots. she's got the original carbine ladder sight , backwards to a Winchester's, 20" barrel, even wears the prancing pony on left side of receiver yet as most have been worn away. weights in at just over 6 lb's, bores decent for this old carbine, locks up tight and cycles the rounds through just fine.reduced loads as these were designed for black powder. this is an antique so can ship to your door as long as you can legally own a fire arm. I still prefer shipping to a C&R or FFL, would be $45.00 insured and shipped and three days to check her out and a refund less shipping if it's not as I say. Just no firing or dismantling . Not many of these come avalible, only selling because I've way to many and it's time to start letting go.
