Description:
This 32-40 Winchester Model 1894 lever action rifle has a blued tapered octagon 13/16" to 11/16" x 26" barrel that is fitted with a Marbles adjustable buck horn rear sight and a bead front sight that is stamped Marble Sheard on the base. The bore is very good. Stamped on the top flat is Manufactured by the Winchester Repeating Arms Co New Haven, Conn USA 32-40. The P grade Walnut butt stock and forend are in good condition with the exception of small wood chips missing around the front of the action and a small hole in both the forend and butt stock. Stamped on the top of the tang is Model 1894 Winchester Pat Aug 21 1894. The metal finish on the action is worn with some color remaining. Generalized metal finsh wear seen on the barrel and magazine tube. Serial number is 5XXX3. Length of pull is 13", overall length is 44-1/2", and weight is 7.8 lbs. Factory wood to metal fit - made by Winchester Reapeating Arms. Condition: Good.
