Up for your consideration is a very nice Remington 1911a1 , .45acp . Serial # 2142114 . Made at the end of the War ,1945 , when these Remingtons were some of the very best produced . This 1911a1 comes from an Estate sale , which I had owned for many years . There is no holster wear , no sharp edge wear . This Remington was a pistol that was hardly used or shot . It comes with everything pictured . The 2 WW11 Yank Magazines , the envelop from the Soldier , the original holster and belt both stamped 1945. The Soldier was a Military Policeman in Germany . He was one of the Soldiers pictured on the front pages of the Yank magazine . The bore is perfect , the barrel is a HS barrel correct , as you see has no wear on it . No take down mark The grips are numbered Keyes grips . The magazine looks new with the correct letter G on the toe . There are the correct cartouches and proof marks . The parkerizing is in excellant condition . This Remington shows almost no wear and I believe the Soldies story as he brought it home and left it alone for all thease years .
