Very nice. Super rare model 53 takedown 44-40. Sn. 1465 Circa 1924-1st year gun! All original. Only 13% of 53 models are in 44-40 cal. and a very small number were manufactured in takedown in that cal. Walnut stock and forearm look all original as does the metal. 22 in. barrel with mint bore. Gun works perfectly. A super-scarce gun in very nice all original condition. $4250.00.
