Description:
Winchester Model 1892 with 24 inch factory round barrel .38-40 wcf. The serial number of this example is 2069XX placing date of manufacture in 1902. Overall condition is excellent with the Barrel and Magazine have retained 99% of the original factory rust blue. The bore is perfect and will rate a 10 on a 1 to 10 scale. Bore is bright and shiny from breech to muzzle and possibly unfired. Minor flaking on the receiver has left it with 95+% of its original factory blue with a tight, smooth and mechanically perfect. Case Colors have been retained on the Hammer and lever at about 90%. Wood to metal fit is perfect with 100% of the original factory varnish. Gorgeous early 1892.
