THIS MODEL 1894 MARLIN HAS A JM MARKED 18" BARREL AND IS TYPICAL OF SUCH MODELS MADE AT THAT TIME. THE GUN IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION INSIDE AND OUT WITH NO METAL WEAR APPARENT AND ONLY A COUPLE LIGHT HANDLING MARKS ON THE WOOD. IT HAS A WEAVER SCOPE BASE MOUNTED ON TOP OF THE RECEIVER. THIS RIFLE IS IN THE DESIRABLE .357 MAG CALIBER AS IT IS COMPATIBLE WITH A SIMILAR CALIBER HANDGUN REQUIRING THE CARRYING OF ONLY ONE TYPE CARTRIDGE.
