THIS SPRINGFIELD MODEL 5100 DOUBLE BARREL SHOTGUN WAS MANUFACTURED BY SAVAGE. IT IS A 12 GA WITH 30" BARRELS, 2 3/4" CHAMBERS AND IS FIXED CHOKED AT F/IM. THE BORES ARE VERY GOOD AS IS MOST OF THE EXTERNAL FINISH AND THE ACTION LOCKS UP TIGHT. THERE ARE A COUPLE SPOTS OF OLD REMOVED RUST ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE BARRELS WITH MINIMAL PITTING AND THE RECEIVER STILL SHOWS MOST OF THE ORIGINAL CASE COLORS. THE STOCK SHOWS SOME LIGHT USAGE WEAR BUT NO CRACKS OR DEEPER DAMAGE. SOME DISTANT OWNER SCRATCHED HIS OREGON DRIVERS LICENSE NUMBER INTO THE PISTOL GRIP CAP AND THE BOTTOM OF THE RECEIVER.
