Another one of my personal guns. This is a very clean old German Weatherby Mark V in 270 Weatherby Magnum caliber .
The stock is a nice dark California Walnut with some nice color. Bluing is as perfect as I have seen on a German Weatherby and the bore is bright and shiny. This is the 24 inch number one contour barrel and therefore it is a very light weight gun, approx 7.5 pounds.
I have owned the gun for over 30 years and have not had it in the field. As with most of these Mark V's they have been shot very little.
The scope is a German manufactured Weatherby 2,3/4 X 10 power. and the bases and rings are made by Maynard P. buehler, these are the mounts that originally came with the German Weatherby rifles.
This is as original as it gets guys, if you are like me you like to see the entire "package" original !
