Description:
Please do not confuse this gun with guns made by the American Gun Company. Those were cheaply built guns and thousands were sold in hardware stores across America. The American Arms company made fine guns that were the equal of any quality maker in the USA or abroad.
The side swing action is unique among American shotguns. The machining that allows the side swing is phenomenal. This was long before CNC machines existed. Although the action opens and closes smoothly, the gun locks vault-tight. when closed. A button on the tang pushes forward to  release the action. A gentle but firm tap on the barrel breech causes barrels to swing open to the right.
This gun is in superb condition, retaining 95-98% of all its original finishes.
Lock-up is tight, no play anywhere. Bores are bright with very minor freckling just forward of the chambers.
Gun has horn grip cap and a "skeleton" buttplate.
