Description:
This Mass Arms Belt Model Revolver remains in fine condition. All markings are present. Serial number 7xx. Bore is fine with strong rifling and some very slight scatterd peppering. The barrel measures 6 Inches and shows around 10% blue. The hand rotated cylinder functions fine and shows most of it's engraving. The back strap and trigger guard show around 90% silver. The frame has a very interesting engraving showing a Heart with flowers on the front. The original wood grips are very fine with some very slight wear. Pistol measures 12". Overall a very nice all original pre Civil War manufactured revolver. It is known that 200 of this model were sold to the Abolitionist John Brown for his use.
