Description:
This French M-1816 Officers Pistol remains in very fine condition. Lock retains much of its origianl case color and is marked St Etienne. The barrel tang is marked Mle 1816 and retains much of its case color. Barrel is marked CROWN over M and CROWN TL. Bore is very fine and actions are crisp and tight. The checkered stock is very fine with nice sharp edges. The stock opposite the lock is stamped 12 C. The pistol shows small proofs or inspections throughout. Brass furniture has a nice even appearance. Pistol measures 14 1/2" overall with a 8" barrel.
