The Winchester Model 12 has been a famed gun for upland game and clay target games, having won many National Championships on the trap and skeet fields. Known throughout the world as the very finest pump action shotgun ever made, these guns were hand fitted and machined to perfection. From the skeet and trap fields to the upland bird cover, even in the 3 major wars, the Model 12 has been a favorite of American gunners for over 100 years. The Model 12 we are showing here, sn410177 built in 1925, is in incredible condition, as the barrel, receiver, and trigger guard have 99% blue and the wood retains 98% finish with a few field marks in the finish only. THIS MODEL 12 RETAINS ALL FACTORY ORIGINAL PARTS AND HAS BEEN RESTORED TO FACTORY NEW IN EVERY WAY. The finishes are historically correct and so well done most would never guess the gun has been restored. This is a desirable, pre-WWII, Standard Grade Model 12 with 28” sixteen gauge solid rib barrel. The barrel has a mirror shiny bore with a factory CYLINDER choke. It has been shot and carried afield, so you can have some fun and go out and shoot some game or clays, and the gun will still hold its value. You can look long and hard and you will not find a nicer example at anywhere near this price. The value is in the details and look closely at the photos and you will see a gun that is much cleaner than anything else I can find for sale. It is the kind of premium gun that avid Winchester Model 12 lovers are happy to step up and pay for, so don’t hesitate or she will be gone, and it will be years before you see one this nice with the 28” solid rib barrel choked Cylinder.
