Most double gun enthusiasts are aware of the reputation earned by the Winchester Model 21; a gun of  superior strength and mechanical genius created under the micro management of John Olin himself.  With only 32,000 produced (compared to 250,000 Parkers!), any high condition Model 21 is a valuable, investment quality firearm sure to appreciate as you enjoy its use.   Model 21 guns are fully capable of shooting the most powerful loads available, SO IF YOU LIKE MAGNUM LOADS FOR PHEASANTS, DUCKS, OR OTHER TOUGH GAME, THIS IS YOUR GUN (we can make it a 3” chamber safely in our gunsmith shop).  From 1930 to 1980 they only made about 2900 twenty-gauge guns in all grades, most of them Standard Grade and Skeet Grade guns.  There are no solid numbers telling us how many engraved M21 twenty gauge guns were made, but it is estimated that there are fewer than 100 M21 twenty gauge guns engraved in the #4 pattern.  THIS IS A RARE FIND!  Keep in mind there are far more AFTERMARKET ENGRAVED MODEL 21’S THAN FACTORY ENGRAVED.  Most you see are not factory engraved even if they are represented as such.  The only way to be sure is with factory records that document such.  This M21, sn9665 built in 1935, is documented by Cody Firearms Museum to have been built as a Trap Grade with #4 engraving, leaving not a doubt about its authenticity.  This gun has had a new buttstock installed, so it no longer matches the Cody letter to perfection, and we have priced the gun accordingly.  A Model 21 20 gauge with #4 engraving would bring over $20,000 in today’s market.  This gun is an affordable factory engraved Model 21.  The gun is beautiful with 100% restored finishes.  The pistol grip buttstock is a factory correct Model 21 style buttstock with fancy figure, perfect checkering, checkered butt, and a fine hand-rubbed oil finish.  The mechanics are excellent, with perfect screws, barrels tight on the breech face and hinge pin, well-timed ejectors, crisp single selective trigger…all in perfect working order.  The 26” barrels are choked F/M and the gun mounts and swings lightning fast for your upland pursuits.  We have 4 full-time master gunsmiths, so if you want the gun to be restocked to the factory specifications we can get it done to perfection for a very reasonable cost.  This is a rare opportunity to own a factory engraved Winchester Model 21 ready for your favorite shotgun sports.  Thanks for looking!
