A factory letter accompanies this fantastic Model 57 confirming the configuration and detailing its original shipment on April 9, 1964 to the Gopher Shooters Supply Company in Faribault, Minnesota. An awesome 1st year production Model 57 that is equipped with a 6" barrel, original bright blue finish and checkered Goncalo Alves diamond target stocks AKA ‘Cokes’. The gun is complete in the original velour lined mahogany display case with all the unused cleaning tools.
An excellent and hard to find example from the 1st year of production that retains virtually 99% of the original bright blue finish which shows only the faintest of collector type handling evidence. The bore and cylinder chambers are mint and the mechanical working order is flawless.
