Selling a Winchester 1886 in 45/70 caliber , comes with a round 26" barrel and believe its standard rear open sight. Looks to be all original , comes with a factory letter, serial number 20893, letter states it was received in warehouse August of 1888 and shipped out December of 1888, these early rifles were all case hardened frames I believe up to 1901, wood and metal looks decent for this old 86. Not been monkeyed with like a lot of them you see. This rifle shoots, I harvested one of my buffalo's with her last fall. John Browning along with his brother designed and built for Winchester one of the strongest lever action rifles ever built.160,000 were made up through 1935 in 10 different calibers. This along with the 45/90 lead the way. I'll include the shipping in the lower 48 in my asking price. Three day money back less shipping if you have a change of heart .
