Description:
Parker VHE 16 gauge built on the light "O" frame.Built in 1907,this gun has 26" Vulcan steel barrels choked cylinder and modified (.020").the factory letter verifies that the gun was ordered with this choked combination.The bores are bright and free of any rust,dents,or pits.The gun has double trigger,a pistol grip stock,and the original dog's head buttplate.The barrels lock up tightly with no play with the top lever at center.The ejectors are strong and in time.The gun weighs 6-2 and handles very quickly.It was originaly sent to Pennsylvania and I imagine that it was someones prize grouse gun.The receiver retains traces of case color in protected areas and the barrels retain 90% of the original blue.This is a classic upland bird gun that would be great for dove,quail,grouse,woodcock,or pheasant.C&R eliglble.
