We are happy to offer one of the finest Beretta Model 92S 9mm pistols we have ever had. This spectacular Beretta Model 92S or 92 "Second Series" is quite scarce as it is a commercial gun rather than police contract pistol, built in Italy for the U.S. market for only a short time. It features a beautiful factory gloss-blue finish on all of the metal parts, a 4 & 7/8ths inch barrel, a left-side slide-mounted safety/de-cocking lever, a European-style heel-located magazine release, checkered black plastic grips with the Beretta logo, and a double-stack 15-round detachable magazine. This was the second engineering revision so to speak of the Beretta Model 92, a handgun that went on to earn world-wide acclaim and recognition, in addition to to becoming the U.S. Military's standard sidearm for many years. This Beretta 92S has apparently spent it's entire life in storage and is in like-new condition, rating 98%+. If not for a few tiny little handling marks only visible under close inspection it would be a flat-mint gun. All of the factory stampings are crisp and clean on both the slide and frame. There is no visible wear on the exterior of this Beretta and no mechanical wear on the internals. While we do not know if it has been fired for sure, it does not show any evidence of being fired. The bolt face shows zero wear or primer halo, and the bore is pristine and mirror-bright. The rifling still looks perfectly sharp in this Beretta, and there are no visible imperfections or wear throughout the barrel. The original glossy black checkered plastic grips on this Model 92S are in excellent condition overall. Both grip panels are free from any cracks, chips, repairs, or major damage. The checkered panel portions on both grips are still crisp and clean, the Beretta logos are sharp, and both grip screw sets have perfect slots and finish. The action on this pistol is silky-smooth and the frame-to-slide fitment is superb. You can tell that this Beretta was manufactured with the upmost care and attention to detail. All of the controls on this pistol are in perfect working order and there is no doubt that this Beretta would function just as well today as the day it left the factory over 40 years ago. This Model 92S comes complete with 2 factory 15-round magazines, both in excellent overall condition and 100% functional. If you have been looking for a really cool vintage automatic pistol for your collection this Beretta Model 92S would be an excellent choice. These commercial models are extremely hard to find in any condition, much less as pristine and beautiful as this one. It would be all but impossible to upgrade from this spectacular example!
