Description:
Marlin Model 1889 Rifle in .38-40. SN #27988. Mfg in the 1st year of production of 1889. LOP 12 3/4". 24" octagon barrel with a good to very good bore fore it's age. Strong rifling with some light pitting in the grooves. The metal looks to have been re-blued many years ago and is in good condition. The original straight Walnut stock and forend are in very good condition. Crescent buttplate. Full tube magazine. Tang is tapped for a Tang Sight. This is an antique and requires no FFL to purchase. Ships Lower 48 W/ Insurance $40.00.
