Offered here is a custom built (not custom shop) Winchester Model 70 on a pre 64 action that based on the SN was manufactured in 1957. According to the owner this gun was custom built by a gunsmith in Rhode Island. The barell is a tapered, 22", however I cannot say what make it is. The wood appears to be standard Winchester walnut used during that time frame but has been checkered extensively from the grip through the forearm. The stock has a raised cheek piece on the left side for a right handed shooter. The bolt handle has been customized by shortening the knob and checkering all other bearing sides. The butt-plate and grip cap are Neidner made. The rifle has typical handling marks but no deep scratches or gouges. It comes with a Swarovski Z6 1.7-10X42 scope.
