Description:
One of the several variations of Rugers desirable and sought after 44 Mag Carbines were these somewhat unique variants equipped at the Factory with a Williams Peep Site. Originally designed for deer huting in dense woods; these have now found favor with hog hunters and collectors. They were produced from approx 1961 to 1984. At only a hair over a yard in length and weighing less than 6.5 lbs these are very handy, fast hadnling, mild recoiling and reliable.
The RS models are not often found. This one was made in 1977 and is in exceptional condtiont for a gun made 43 yrs ago.
There is a little faint ghosting on the receiver where a scope base must have been at one time (see the brass filler screws rear of receiver area) and some light loss of blue on forward part of barrel (very minor); overall conditon is at least 90%.
