Attributed to Julius Melcher. Hand carved and painted cigar store Indian figure having a feather headdress, red cloak and beaded medallion necklace. Armed with a dagger and wooden club. Set on a wood box base labeled H.L. Davis & Sons Cigars on forged metal wheels. Has a hole ain the top of head covered with tin for linseed oil. Came from a Michigan collection. 84"H x 22"W x 16"D. Last quarter 19th Century.
