Description:
Woodward 12 bore best quality hammerless ejector side by side game gun. Made in 1898 and well maintained over the years and in excellent condition retaining a significant amount of its original case coloring. The gun has 30" nitro proofed Wentworth steel barrels with 2-1/2" chambers and is cased with accessories. Choked .015 in the right barrel and .006 in the left barrell. Miminum wall thichness in the right barrel is .025 and .027 in the left barrel with a bore diameter in the right barrel at .730 and .726 in the left barrel. The length of pull is 14-3/8" with a drop of 1-1/2" x 2-1/2" and cast off of 1/4". Included is correspondance from Purdey & Sons which contains Woodward's record on the gun.(SOLD)
