30 inch single edge fluted blade-bright steel etched with floral scroll & Marine Corps insignia 'U.S. Marines' within the cartouche. Six pointed star on right hand side with 'S.N.C.O.A.' and '43-89' markings. Left side marked 'Stainless' and 'G.M.S.'. Cast & gilted hilt. Pierced scroll motifs. Leather covered wood grips with twisted brass wire wrapping. Metal lined leather scabbard with a brass mounting at the tip. Overall fine condition with a nice deep patina to the brass, blade is exc+.
