Description:
Northern Plains Wolf Clan fighting trade axe with figural wolf handle. Hand wrought and filed iron blade on hand carved hickory haft depicting howling wolf. This was a used battle piece. Effigy carved after period of use but pre-1900. Lots of patina from use. Head 6" Overall 21". 19th century.
