Description:
I'm listing my Savage bolt action model 1920 in caliber 250-3000,serial number 6654, Mfg'd around 1926, Feather lite model , sports a 22" tapered barrel , with Savage rear leaf adjustable sight and a blade front sight. Has a rear tang safety and  factory checkered pistol grip stock with a Schnabel forearm. Wood and metal are in high condition. No extra holes or scratch's in either metal or wood . This rifle was way ahead of the game but the public was still favoring lever style rifles so with the depression looming Savage stopped producing these quality rifles. Shoots the 250 Savage round of today , but back in its day the 250-3000 was a smoker . This rifle is excellent condition , I've a model 20 in the 300 Savage caliber listed on this site and would possibly do a deal on both. There were less than 11k built in both calibers the 250-3000 less than 5k, receivers were grooved for stripper clip use as were the military bolt actions of that era. I'd guess $45.00 insured and shipped to lower 48. To your C&R or FFL. Three day inspection and return for refund at your shipping expense.
