Description:
CASED WINCHESTER MODEL 52 TARGET SPEEDLOCK .22LR MATCH RIFLE WITH WITTEK-VAVER MICROMETER TARGET SIGHTS, CIRCA 1935. Cased in 1934 NRA match carrying case by Hartmann. 28" tapered bull barrel with crisp address on one side and model/caliber opposite. Pretty much 100% original blue remaining with some patina. Receiver the same. Barrel band with sling swivel same with mint screw. Obly loss of original colr is about trigger guard and magazine well from typical handling. Near mint original buttstock with original checkered steel buttplate(there is a length of pull extension owner had made if you want to lengthen already shaped for between plate and stock). Aluminum detachable cheekrest for proper alignment to Wittek-Vaver no. 35 type adjustable sight(with Wittek-Vaver extension bar-Right hand). Wood pristine with almost NO signs of handling. Knob of bolt shows only signs of blue loss from handling-slight. Accompanied by two Winchester magazine(one 5 round and one 10 round). Scope bases on rifle with unturned screws so maybe never taken off nor signs of scope being put on. Wittek_vaver micrometer dial functions perfectly. Front sight by Watson with one single post insert). Hartmann NRA case from 1934. Green interior with original locks(no keys) and carrying strap swivels(no strap) with good hinge. Rifle a perfect fit for case. Had one owner who was the original shooter. Very nice grouping.
