REMINGTON RIDER ARGENTINE MODEL 1878 ROLLING BLOCK .43 SPANISH CAL. INFANTRY RIFLE. 36” barrel with saber bayonet lug at muzzle. Breech stamped “MODELO ARGENTINO 1878 N.E.” Upper tang with “Remington & Sons, Ilion, N.Y.” address with patent dates (last one 1878). Argentine Arsenal refinished with 99% blue remaining. Stock and forend with minor storage dents and small script letters “C A C” carved on right side of butt. Frame tapped for receiver sight. Looks near mint and is in perfect working order with a near mint bore. Original cleaning rod. Good quality military style leather sling.
