This is an original Sten MK II that has been converted into a German MP 3008. The MP 3008 was a late-ww2 last ditch effort by the nazis to produce a cheap submachine gun for their troops. They replicated their design off of the British Sten, but had it bottom loading instead of the side, and chambered it in 9mm (and used MP 40 magazines with them). There were only about 10,000 ever made and they're extremely hard to find. This Sten has been converted to look and operate exactly like the MP 3008. The magazine slot and receiver have been modified for 9mm and receiving MP 40 magazines. Beautiful condition and fully automatic. Smooth operation, and comes with a spare barrel and bolt. Comes with a repro canvas MP.38 sling. Also included are 3 original MP.40 magazines from WW2.
