Description:
This is a good older Remington Model 878 Automaster semi-auto shotgun in 12 gauge. The Model 878 replaced the Model 58, and then itself was replaced by the Model 1100. The blued barrel and receiver are in good condition, with minor scatches from use. The blued 28" barrel is in good condition with a shiny bore. The factory trigger is firm and crisp. The smooth dark walnut stock is good with minor rubs and scratches from handling. The brown cushioned rubber buttpad is good, but has been installed upside down. This Model 878 is a survivor from a short production run. The Model 878 was only produced from 1959 to 1963. No box or other accessories.
