Rare Custom Shop Remington Employee Tribute/Presentation
Remington 11-48 28 gauge Shotgun Consecutive S/N Pair.
These guns were built to present to Fred Byrnes, a career Remington employee ,upon his retirement in 1972.
S/N: 4045495 & 4045496. Fred worked for Remington from 1924 - 1972 as a supervisor of production on the 11-48 line.
Factory blue barrel and receiver. Hand selected fancy walnut stocks with Grade "A" hand-checkering.
Custom engraved by Remington master engraver Robert Runge. Consecutive serial number guns with small gold
letter initial behind trigger guard, one being "F" for Fred and the other "D" for his beloved wife Duty.
Guns are in as-new condition.
Both are choked Full.
