"U.S. Springfield Model 1795 Type II. Musket has been reconverted to flintlock. Metal has gray patina with pitting above the pan. Lock and butt plate are dated 1808. Stock is good with no cracks, does have “JC" stamped on the buttstock and rear of the side plate.
