HERES A WINCHESTER MODEL 1886 IN 45-70 CAL. SERIAL NUMBER 101709. HALF ROUND 24" HEAVY BARREL, SPECIAL ORDER SIGHTS , FACTORY SWIVELS AND HALF MAGAZINE. GUN HAS BEEN PROFFESIONALLY REFINISHED IN THE WINCHESTER FACTORY BLUE FINISH. I HAVE A COPY OF FACTORY LETTER WHICH STATES A DIFFERENT CONFIGURATION. BUT ALSO STATES GUN WAS RECIEVED IN WAREHOUSE IN 1895 AND 2 YEARS LATER THE GUN LEFT THE WAREHOUSE IN 1897. GUN HAS NO WINCHESTER PROOFMARKS . ALL MARKINGS ARE WINCHESTER FACTORY CORRECT. WOOD IS ORIGINAL WITH SOME ORIGINAL FINISH STILL REMAINING. BORE AND MECHNICS ARE EXCELLENT PLUS CONDITION. GUNS LOCKS UP TIGHT AND WORKS EXCELLENT.
