TEXT BOOK ENFIELD MUSKET DATED 1859. MANY OF THESE ENFIELD MUSKETS ENDED UP IN THE HANDS OF THE SOUTH DURING THE CIVIL WAR. GUN WAS DISCOVERED HERE IN FLORIDA. FAMILY HIERLOOM. WE HAVE NO PROOF BUT IT COULD OF VERY WELL BEEN USED IN THE CIVIL WAR. OVERALL CONDITION IS EXCELLENT . MARKINGS ARE STRONG . MECHANICS ARE EXCELLENT . WOOD IS IN EXCELLENT ORIGINAL CONDITION. STILL VERY PROUD TO THE METAL AND ALL THERE. EXCELLENT CARTOUCHE ON RIGHT HAND OF STOCK. METAL IS IN THE WHITE AND IS IN VERY GOOD ORIGINAL CONDITION. ORIGINAL SIGHTS ARE IN EXCELLENT WORKING ORDER.
