Description:
This is a rare offering of a WW2 Paratrooper veteran's belongings including two US M3 Fighting knives the solider was issued during his time of service. Each blade is engraved on one side with the soldier's name: "David T. Quigley" and serial number. David Quigley fought with the US Airborne paratroopers and we have his parachute log record, US Airborne patch and pin, Soldier's Pay Record booklet, Motor Vehicle Permit, dog tags, photo, and two identification cards for when he was enlisted in the Army Reserve Corps. Furhter research on this soldier found that he was born June 6th 1925, received a Purple Heart during WW2, and died on February 10th, 1991. Everything shown in photos is included with this listing. The two blades are different maker stamps, one being CASE blade marked and the other being KINFOLKS blade marked. The family had each blade engraved with his name after he returned from WW2. This is a very cool grouping of REAL US history! Guaranteed all original and authentic.
