Description:
Lightly used "Pinned and Recessed" 44 Magnum revolver, mechanically excellent condition. The 4" barrel certainly makes this more desirable! Bore, rifling and chambers are nice, crisp, clean and shiny. Looks like it may have been holster carried at some point, has thinning blue on the trigger guard, back strap, and some wear behind the muzzle. Ejector rod has about a 1/4" square patch of light corrosion pitting, but just cosmetic. Balance of blue has minor scattered nicks and handling marks, but you got to look close. Muted case colors on the target hammer and target trigger. RH grip panel has a hairline vertical crack, running down to the medallion cavity; not gonna come apart, and should glue-up nicely if you want to fix it.
Very nice old school pre-lock Smith and Wesson, made in 1980 of American Steel and Walnut, and ready for another lifetime of service. Comes with the pictured Factory Mahogany Presentation case (it has been recently relined, and a nice job done of it!) No other box, tools or papers included. Ser# N7818xx.
