Description:
Antique Powder Flask, possibly from the Ottoman Empire. Leather wrapped wood body; metal parts with some light engraving. Features a side mounted lever and two eye hooks on the backside, one with a carrying ring. Measurements are 8-1/2" to tip of spout; overall width is 7-5/8".
This flask is in good condition for its age. The leather covering remains fairly well intact on the frontside; there are pieces missing from the backside but still the cover remains stable. Lever functions properly. An interesting piece worth further research.
