Rare 47E 28ga Merkel SxS. Bluebook of Gun Values, does not list a 47E in 28ga. Only 12 & 20ga can be found in the book. Research with Merkel concluded that this piece preceded a new lightweight series. The number of 47E in 28ga shotguns that were manufactured, was not disclosed. This is in pristine condition, as the pictures prove. A custom fitted travel case is included. 26 3/4" barrels, with filled rib. Boxlock color case hardened action w/ Greener crossbolt and cocking indicators. Single select trigger. Mfgr 1999
