Built in 1898, an exceptional example of the Lang & Hussey "Imperial One Trigger Ejector" 12 bore, side lock shotgun.
Lock
- Side locks with gold inlaid cocking indicators signed " Lany & Hussey Ltd" with profuse folite and bouquet engraving
- Strong, well timed Southgate ejectors
- Base plate signed "Imperail One Trigger Ejector" with profuse folite and bouquet engraving
- Crisp single trigger
- Firm right hand top lever with gold inlaid "2", top tang safety with gold inlaid "Safe" with profuse folite and bouquet engraving
Stock
- Well figured walnut stock with straight had grip and drisp London flat top chequering
- 14 1/4" length of pull including ebonite spacer and Silver's rubber recoil pad
- Unsigned rose gold escutcheon
- Walnut spinter fore end with crisp London flat top chequering and Anson push rod catch

- 28" blued steel side by side steel barrels with raised game rib signed " Lang & Hussey Ltd 102 New Bond Street London made from Sir Joseph Whitworth Fluid Compressed Steel", gold inlaid "2"

- Excellent, bright, clean bores with 2 1/2" chambers and Southgate ejectors
- London Proof House marks for 1896 -1904 show the barrels were proven for 1 1/8oz loads

This gun is offered in excellent, used condition. The gun is tight on the face and functions flawlessly. Complete with a vintage brass cornered leather motoring case [handle missing] and vintage accoutrements.
