Description: This is a fantastic example of an early prewar S&W Model 1926, N-frame second variation revolver, chambered in ever popular .44 special cartridge, that retains 99% of its original deep lustrous finish with just a cylinder ring and minimal muzzle wear. The gun is all matching with mint bore and beautiful grips with S&W medallions. It comes with its original box with intact label and some original wrapping paper inside the box. Box is numbered in pencil on the bottom - matching to the gun. A letter from S&W factory confirms configuration and shipment in mid-thirties. This is a great prewar gun that appears to have sat in the box for the past 80 years. Impossible to upgrade!
