Listing a 1873 Winchester with a extra long barrel that was fun to shoot, believe it held 17 rd's, she's in the not so expensive and fun to shoot 32/20 caliber. I don't have a letter on it but believe it came equipped with the 30", not many made in the extra long version. Has a small dent on right side of Magazine tube, I never had it straightened out but a small project if it bothers you. All part of the rifles story in my opinion. Serial number 231304B, there were around 720,000 model 73's built up to about 1923, this old gal dates to 1888. She's I believe what you'd call a early 32/20 as I've been told that caliber came even after the 38/40 following the 73's original 44/40 cartridge. I imagine along its history someone tried to improve her appearance but she still looks fine. original finish on the barrel and magazine tube. Many are missing the dust cover she's not. Appears to have a different front sight, still an old sight but not what came on her. Now I've priced her to sell, if you want a original 1873 with a special order feature here she is. You can look at a pile of them but find one with the long octagon barrel that looks as good as this one. The 32/20 did not feature a trap door butt plate, why I don't know.
