Description:
An older Heym (1966) that has seen very little careful use, usefully fitted with 2 sets of barrels numbered to the action. Game scenes adorn the double Kersten bolt action finished in French Gray with an alloy trigger plate and horn trigger bow. LOP 14 1/4" w 1 3/4" and 3" drops, newish rubber pad, and skipline checkering. Adjustable front trigger, tang safety, and cocking indicators. Shotgun barrels are 28x2 3/4" 16 ga choked O 666/631 (F) U 666/633 (F) w mirror bores, ejectors, and 99% blue; combo barrels are 24" 30-06 under 16ga 2 3/4" choked full w extractor and two position rear sight, wide U for sg use and finer rifle sight. 6 1/4lb as a shotgun, 6 1/2" as a combo. Versatile ensemble for the discerning traveling or backpacking hunter who knows that a 16 "carries like a 20 and hits like a 12"!
