STUNNING, ULTRALIGHT, DE GRADE, DAVIDSON ENGRAVED, 29" BARRELS IC/M, a grand example showing the quality of CSMC Fox guns. With its fancy scalloped back action, deep hand-chiseled engraving, gorgeous game scenes, signed "J. Davidson" by Master Engraver Jere Davidson, who apprenticed under former Colt Master Engraver Ken Hurst, factory upgraded Turkish walnut stock, blank gold oval, borderless elaborate checkering, engraved skeleton butt plate, long 29” finely struck barrels, Schnabel forend with a horn insert, double triggers, extremely light Fox 16ga. gun at 5lbs. 9oz., especially considering the 29” special order barrels. The long barrels and English-style stock make it a very racy-looking shotgun. The engraving on the barrels and breech balls is very deeply chiseled and expertly executed. The buyer will have the option of purchasing an as-new CSMC Galazan's #C0020-16 Traditional Leather Trunk Case with Canvas Cover for an additional $700.00. This shotgun appears unfired and would cost $27,500 to order from CSMC today.
