If you ever thought a beautiful Union Switch was beyond your budget just keep reading. This one this is definitely the answer to owning a real beauty at a very modest price. It retains about 99+% of an Augusta Arsenal finish. Very frankly, it does not appear as though it ever needed it. The metal surface show no sign of rust, pin pricks, surface blemishes or wear. Note, the heat treat line is still very obvious and the grip strap show no sign of toning. It may have just needed some minor work. Truly it is the answer to owning a great Union Switch without having to sell the farm.
The left side of the frame is correctly stamped Circle RCD for the inspector and properly "P" proofed. The frame and the slide match. The grips are perfect and the correct small ring type and flawless as are the grip screws. The proper "Colt" contract barrel is super, sunshine bright with razor sharp rifling. Not a touch of frost anywhere. It comes with one correct "S" (Scoville) stamped magazine. For the very critical investor/collector with a limited budget they can be sure they acquired a winner.
