This beautiful, hard to find Browning FN Herstal Vigilante 40 SW is my favorite 1911-style handgun. It comes AS NEW with original box plus gun lock, manuals, and three 10-round magazines.
One unique feature of this pistol is Browning's SFS--"Safety Fast Shooting"--trigger system that allows the gun to be carried safely with a bullet in the chamber but with the hammer down. This means the first shot is double action; single action thereafter. This makes carrying easier and is ideal for any who haven't gotten completely comfortable carrying a 1911 cocked and locked. (Browning does't officially recommend carrying this or any pistol with a bullet in the chamber.)
I bought this Browning new and have fired it two or three times. It is the most reliable 1911 I've owned.
I'm retired law enforcement reluctantly selling my collection of handguns and rifles. Sorry, no trades.
