Description:
Serial #19, 11mm Gas / Blank, 1 1/8" barrel with a very good, lightly freckled bore. This is a very nice, Liege-proofed, concealed hammer, 5-shot tear gas/blank revolver, with 1914 date stamp, and no maker markings. The metal retains 97-98% of the original blue finish with some mild silvering along the high edges, and along the face of the cylinder. The cylinder pin/ejector assembly, folding trigger, and safety lever are finished arsenal bright, with some specks of plum-brown freckling throughout, and the loading gate has dark original straw remaining. The checkered walnut grips are in fine shape with only some minor flattening of the points on either side. The lock-up is tight, and the action functions flawlessly. These are interesting guns that were used by people who wanted a non-lethal alternative to firearms like the Velo-Dog, or other small frame handguns.
