CIVIL WAR ERA MANHATTAN .36 CAL. PERCUSSION TYPE 2 NAVY REVOLVER CA. 1863. 5 shot with 5” octagon barrel stamped “MANHATTAN FIRE ARMS MFG. CO. NEW YORK”. Fine all original and matching condition. 30-40% original blue on barrel and cylinder. Traces of case hardening color mixed with dark patina on frame and lever. Excellent cylinder scene. Grips with nearly all the original finish. Excellent bore and working order. Type of private purchase revolver carried by many officers as a personal side arm during the Civil War. Old Manhattan Fire Arm Co. collection provenance.
